For owner-operators
Freight you choose. Paperwork you don’t touch.
Run your own authority or lease onto ours. Either way you keep 88% of every load, with one flat 12%, no forced dispatch, and the broker rate in front of you before you accept.
- Keep 88%
- No forced dispatch
- No monthly fee
Instant check
Was that load worth taking?
Type the linehaul and the miles off a rate confirmation. This does the split; it does not pretend to know your costs.
Before fuel, insurance, maintenance and your truck payment. Those stay yours, and we will not quote you a take-home figure that pretends otherwise.
On the board
Showing 4 of 9 open lanes
Freight we are covering this week.
Real lanes. Rates stay off a public page, because a published rate is a quote and we do not make those here.

Your equipment
Swipe to the trailer you pull.
The bar above and the rules below follow whatever is centered. One control, so nothing on this band can disagree with itself.
Rules that change for you
Hours, medical and pre-trip are everyone's. These are the ones a dry van adds.
Nothing in the library changes for this trailer yet. The universal rules still apply, and they are all in Resources.
From the resource library, so this page and Resources cannot disagree about what your trailer needs.
Your desk
You don’t chase the paperwork.
What a load looks like from the driver’s seat once it is booked. Tap a step.
You see the rate before you say yes.
We match loads to your equipment and your preferred lanes, vet the broker, and put the rate confirmation in front of you. Nothing moves until you accept it.
- No forced dispatch, ever
- Broker vetted before the load is offered
- You see the broker rate, not a number we invented
Turn one down and the next one comes. It costs you nothing.
Qualification
Six checks before your first load.
Not eligible: box trucks, cargo vans, sprinters, non-CDL operations
That is all six. Worth ten minutes.
Nothing here is a surprise once you are on the phone with the desk.

Questions we get
The ones drivers actually ask.
Weekly settlements, every week, with a line-item breakdown of each load. You will see gross, the 12% fee, and your net. Nothing else comes out unless you ask for it (like optional factoring).
Yes, as an option, never a requirement. If you want next-day cash, we will show you the exact fee up front. Many of our drivers run standard weekly settlements and pay nothing extra.
No. You choose every load. Our job is to bring you good options with transparent rate confirmations; your job is to pick what fits your lanes, your schedule, and your rate floor.
As much as you want. You are an independent owner-operator. Tell us your schedule and we dispatch around it. No penalties, no minimum weeks.
$1M auto liability and $100K cargo minimum. If your coverage is short, we will point you to agent partners who work with owner-operators; we do not sell insurance ourselves.
Yes. If your own MC is new or in progress, ask about leasing under Relay’s aged authority. We will walk you through the costs and trade-offs honestly. For many drivers, their own authority is the better long-term play.
You do, because it is your truck. But our 24/7 support line helps you find shops, negotiate repairs on the road, and document breakdowns for detention and layover claims.
Give us notice and we part as professionals. No termination fees, no escrow held hostage, no 30-day traps. We keep drivers by being worth 12%, not by locking doors.
Ready when you are
